HI! I'M MATTY
My name is Matty. I was born hearing but a few years later I became deaf. I attended maintenance school but I still struggled and eventually went to a deaf school and college for a few years. I studied and fully qualified and tutor, also developing many skills. I setup an after-school club and leader in Doncaster for five year and became a successful. The club grew to a large population and I became the first four Deaf referee in football. I received many awards for my involvement in the community. I was nominated for my involvement in the Olympic touch run in Doncaster. I volunteered at various charity organisations, Deaf Festivals and became involved in the deaf community in many ways. I was involved with Pride in Hull 2013 for four years and worked to support a British sign language interpreter on stage. This success has led to a growing number of deaf people attending Pride in Hull. I successfully organised my first small event and grew it into a popular event for a few years. However, company went bust due to errors and mistakes. I became mentally healthy and decided to seek help. Years later, I’ve decided to return to the deaf community to fully ensure that I provide the service you want and that we can achieve many things together. You can learn anything you want.
My aim is for Matty’s BSL to become successful through social media and many clients. We want people to use our Matty’s BSL channel to learn or simply enjoy watching. We’re not looking for your payment for our services. we aim to earn through social media, advertising and sponsorship. I want to ensure everyone is welcome to watch or learn and enjoy the laughs and interesting content. All are welcome! Matty.
